Being Rich Starts With An Idea

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

If you think about it-money is just paper with pictures of dead presidents, right? So really, these pieces of paper are not what make it important-it is what it represents that gives it value. Money is not just paper, it is an idea.

Who doesn’t want to become rich? Many times it seems like an impossibility but really, it’s not. To realize wealth unlimited, we must recognize that we can earn money successfully by adopting a consciousness that will attract prosperity.

What this means is that you have to believe that you are prosperous no matter what your present circumstances may tell you. The poor remain poor because of a poverty mindset they cling to. They believe they cannot make money so they never find out how to set goals and meet them.

Think about it, I can tell you of several millionaires who have invested heavily and lost a lot of their wealth in deals that did not push through or failed. What makes them winners is their ability to brush it off as a mistake and restart their lives- begin earning money that will build wealth and empires anew. This is the strength of their prosperity consciousness.

Take a look into your own thought patterns. What is your level of prosperity consciousness? If you want to build wealth of your own, be honest with yourself and assess your views on making money. Are you comfortable with it? Are there pre-existing damaging associations with it that you need to deal with? If there are, you need to deal with it before you can become rich.

Speak motivational messages to stir yourself up constantly. Let it penetrate into your life and allow the emotions to fuel you into acting everyday in support of your positive affirmation. Write out these motivational words, read it, say it, feel it and live it out.

Naturally, when you declare you are rich-make an effort to earn money to substantiate that claim. As you learn how to set goals and make money, develop yourself spiritually as well. Wealth solely for the purpose of personal gratification will not make you happy. If one is not happy, riches are inconsequential.

Money is so much more than bills we exchange for goods and services-it is a quality consciousness everybody can have access to. Poverty might have been where you began, but wealth unlimited can be the very real destination of your life. Decide to become rich and enjoy a life as you would have it today.

Fear Will Work Against You

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

However, it doesn’t matter how much you have learned if you have certain detrimental factors in operation in your life. One of the major obstacles you have to deal with is fear.

Fear comes in many forms; worry is a subtle and prevalent feeling people take on in relation to money. Remember, if we can use the law of attraction to draw good to us-it can also work to attract that which we constantly meditate about.

The book of Job in the Bible gives us an example of this principle in operation. Job was a godly man, doing what was right consistently. However, his fear provided a door wherein unfortunate situations have come in through. Amidst his now infamous series of terrible suffering, Job cried out, “Behold, the thing I fear has come to visit me”.

In relation to our finances, we will never reach our highest potential if we are always worried about making money and expecting deficiency of resources. See, fear is not the insubstantial emotion people mistake it to be-far from it. When we meditate on fear, it will trigger the law of attraction and keep prosperity from us.

How many people do we know of that have lived a life of frugality but never truly living? They may have money, but they definitely did not have financial freedom. They hoarded money because they were scared to be poor; but they inevitably lived a lifestyle of a pauper anyway.

Let me tell you something else about fear, it grows when you allow yourself to be bombarded with negative and pessimistic news. To be any kind of success in the world, you must learn to stop taking stock of all the opinions of people around you and listen instead to the sure and quiet voice within you.

Napoleon Hill, the famous author, says that opinions are the cheapest commodities in the world and indeed, they are. Every person has one to share and it usually doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. Your decision to choose which voice to heed will determine the quality of your life.

Choose to listen to God’s voice above the din of the world and do not fear anything else. It gave success to a man like Napoleon Hill-it will give the same to anybody who wants it.

Global Freedom Comes From Understanding Culture

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

Culture-it is a powerful tool if you want to change your life. Culture is defined by the established beliefs and ideals set by a particular group of people. The most influential of these are those cultures that have been put in families, companies and in the nation.

Every era have been home to certain destructive parts of a national culture that blocked the way of many who desire to become rich in their monetary and personal lives. Imagine this, only several years earlier, unfair discrimination against groups of people have been allowed to fester in cultures all over the world. The world would be a darker place without moral and outstanding luminaries like Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Amelia Earhart.

Indeed, life would be much simpler if we just go with the existing paradigms that may be wrong, but easier to cope with. Fortunately, because of these brave souls who dare to change the landscape of the very world we live in-we are left with the powerful knowledge that anybody can use one’s culture to step up to global freedom.

Take some time to think about this: what particular paradigm reinforcing a particular aspect of your culture do you want to change? Perhaps it is the notion that it is difficult to make money and become rich. You might be considering the present status of the economy instead of the unlimited potential that is in you. How about setting your sights on a more global market?

Write down the goals you want and all the ideas you associate with it. If it is to build wealth in an international level, it might be international jobs, to earn money online and make money on the internet. Is there a sense of resistance inside you? Are you comfortable with the idea that you can make money using innovative, and possibly riskier methods? You are uncovering your paradigms and correcting them to be in alignment to your goals.

Ever body has a choice. You can stay a victim of your culture-or use it to boost you to higher ground. When you make money on the internet, you open yourself up to many income opportunities. More than that, it will improve your personal quality of life as well. How so? If you decide to earn money online, you can be working from home instead of the office. Working from home will mean more time you can spend for your family and loved ones.

Look at all your options and choose the path that will give you a better quality of life. It may not be international jobs or income opportunities from the internet like we’ve discussed. It does have to be exciting for you and fuel your passion to build wealth regardless the sometimes negative paradigms and attitudes that you will meet along the way.

Who says you can’t change the world? Cultures may loom over us but your winning attitude can overcome anything that may come against you. Start inside you– change your life one paradigm at a time.

Decision Making 101 — How to Make A Decision

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

A person’s destiny is formed by the decisions he makes every day. You may not think much of this seemingly trivial mental process that is the art of making decisions-but it has the power to change your life. You can achieve your personal goals and financial objectives by knowing how to make good decisions.

The first thing you must have is a truthful and absolute knowledge of who you are. Knowing who you are and being secure in that knowledge naturally translates to self-confidence. You need these two integral traits in goal setting. If you have goals, you will most likely make decisions that will fail. Self-knowledge and self-confidence will recognize failure only as an event and not a definition of who they are.

Do not be uncomfortable in making decisions. If you are, then you need to resolve that within yourself before anything else. You cannot avoid decision-making anymore than you can avoid breathing and eating. Stand by the choices you make and expect only the best.

Oftentimes people decide based on circumstances and favorable factors they might find themselves in. If this were how everybody operated, a lot of inventions and reformations would not have been possible simply because of trials and obstacles. Don’t let your goal setting be controlled by circumstances.

Money is another factor that encumbers potentially great decisions. While wisdom dictates us to consider everything before stepping into something important; resources at hand should not be the main reason for making a choice we know we should take. If you need to make an important decision, do so regardless with what you have right now-money will find its way to you.

Understand that what decision is, is organizing your thoughts which brings you the results you need. You can make money and become rich if you want to. That’s right-the economy is not responsible for your ability to make money, you are. You have to decide that you will become rich regardless the reality your senses might be telling you and what you believe will come to pass eventually.

What are the goals you are setting for yourself? Are there setbacks that have discouraged you from pursuing and achieving these personal goals? Remember, to live a life of significance you must look beyond your past and present. Your decision to succeed will determine the quality of life you will have.

Everybody loves winners. The mistakes they may have made pale in comparison to the successes they have worked hard for. The legacy that you leave rests on your decision to be excellent in all that you do. Decide to change your life and be all that you can be today.

Fresh Situations Brought From New Outlooks

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

There is a season in every person’s life that he will outgrow certain areas in his life and desire anew. Though contentment is virtuous, dissatisfaction at what is easily attainable is a good thing as well. It makes you grow and want to change your life to have more.

Take a mental assessment of your life. In what particular areas do you feel most discontent and frustrated? A lot of people point to the seemingly senselessness of the work that they do. If your career goals are not good, your quality of life as it relates to your personal life will suffer as well

What has career goals have anything to do with my personal life? Your job provides you the money you need to buy things in life. Moreover, the right profession gives us fulfillment like no other. If we view our jobs only as something we have to do to survive-we will miss out on an invaluable quality of life rich in purpose.

Think of certain areas in your life you want to improve on and write down all the associations that comes to mind in connection with it. This exercise will find out what your paradigm is on certain areas which have greatly influenced how you think, feel and act towards certain things.

For example, notice the mindset and emotions you are nurturing in regard to the career you are in. Is it a good or a bad emotion that rise up within you when you think of work? If you feel lethargic or unhappy about it, you might want to consider a career change. Find a job that will fuel your passion so much so that you excel in your work output.

Bear in mind that you need to determine the root of your dissatisfaction before you think of a career change. Otherwise, you are only transferring your frustrations to the next job you will be in. Is there a negative association or experience that has tainted the view you have of work? If this is all it is, then you can resolve these issues. You might actually enjoy the career you’re in now and you won’t even need to find a job anymore.

Now you need to view your job in a positive light. If the career you are in utilizes your skills, is something you enjoy and gives you fulfillment– then you will be able to go to work happy. A happy worker will produce more; and a higher productivity /efficacy will result in rewards and money.

You don’t need to go around looking for the next new thing to change your life. Often times the answer lies inside you. You can make something great out of an old situation. All you need to do is to believe and begin to shift your paradigm to create the reality you desire.

Decisions are potent in the business of goals setting. To be a legend in whatever world we want to move in, we must purpose to remove indecisiveness from our vocabulary and just do what we set out to do in the first place. What are the things we can do to enter into a higher level of success in life?

Have you ever imagined how stressed out everybody will be if we never planning ahead? Imagine this, a world without pre-booking during holiday travels or doctor appointments-sounds like a nightmare right? Advanced planning in any area will simplify life tremendously.

How about your aim to receive a six figure income? Sounds like it’s for someone else doesn’t it? It can be yours if you include it in your goals setting. Maximize anything that you have and start now. Understand that wealth is almost never an overnight matter so do not be disheartened if you do not get a windfall the following week. Don’t give up and you will see your six figure income soon enough.

Can you see where we are going? Anyone can attain victory in whatever area in their lives by making a conscious choice to do so. The path to this is made faster and more efficiently by constantly fueling your motivation and advanced decision-making.

All the great men and women in history share one thing-personal and deeply felt convictions that set them on the course of how to live the way they do. Their unshakeable belief in their goals subsequently directed them to act automatically in support of the decision they have made beforehand that will serve to further their cause.

Let nothing, people or event; thwart you from achieving all that you can in life. Your happiness and wealth are yours for the asking-let your decision bring you to higher heights today.

Change Your View, Change Your Life

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Admit it, you’ve thought of robbing the bank once or twice right? OK, maybe you’re better than that-how about winning the lottery? Many think this is the way to become rich but truly, it is not. You can build wealth on your own and changing your life while you’re at it. All you need to do is to change your paradigm.

So how do you go about doing this? There are three simple steps you can do to be on your way to improve your standard of living in a practical and helpful way. The first one is to write down in detail the elusive dream that you have in your heart. Let’s say you want to become rich. Imagine yourself clearly and write down what you see as clearly and as thorough as possible.

Next, list every connection that comes to your mind when you think of your goal. An effective way to do this is to employ a strategy many writers use in coming up with their plots. Put the goal in bold letters in the middle and encircle it. Then in the surrounding area, write down all the ideas that you associate with it. Perhaps it is earning money, build wealth, six figure income, etc. – whatever it is, include it in your sheet.

Are you looking at this sheet of paper right now? You are in fact looking at the paradigms you have held regarding money. Most of what you wrote you may already know about yourself, but there are some that might have surprised you. Like for some, a six figure income seems a bit excessive; therefore they unwittingly repel abundance in their earning money potential.

If you have your paradigms all listed down, zoom in on those key phrases that bring up strong negative emotions inside you. If you purpose to build wealth, what are the detriments that come against you from within yourself? Ask yourself why it is that these negative paradigms are coming up. Sometimes it is past bad experiences in relation to finances; for others it may be false notions that originated from culture or family.

Now that you have the root of your paradigm- do something about it. Reprogram yourself mentally to think higher thoughts by writing down and hearing yourself speak out motivational quotes that will stir you up to become rich.

Motivational quotes are more than pretty words strung together-it is a very real force that compels the universe to sit up and take notice of you. If you want to grow rich beyond your natural understanding, you can by speaking out what it is you want. Declare that money is attracted to you and you have the wisdom to manage it well. Believe that you will grow rich and live in abundance and speak it out every day.

Many times people strive so hard in earning money externally when all they really need is to look inside for any real transformation. Changing your life and purposing to live in a higher level is not always easy-but it is always worth it

Is Your Cultural View Limiting You?

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

Too often people walk around with little to show for themselves, when they are capable of so much more. Ask them why and most will give excuses and point to their present circumstances as the culprit to their seemingly inherent state of failure. Delve deeper into their excuses and you will find that these self imposed restrictions are based on paradigms created subconsciously throughout the course of their lives.

Paradigms are powerful tools to change life. These are pre-existing mindsets we have that largely dictate our thought patterns and subsequent actions. If, for example, you have always felt insignificant, when it’s time to find a job you will go for local jobs instead of international jobs even if you are highly capable. You will earn money, but it will be less satisfying than what you deserve.

How did you come to the conclusion that you only wanted to be hired for local jobs? Was it a specific goal you set for yourself? The answer would probably be no. Shying away from international jobs was a subconscious decision brought about a perception you had of yourself; an example of a damaging and negative paradigm.

As we can see, mindsets are powerful life forming tools. It can either go good or bad for you, depending on your choice– and one of the main factors of shaping your paradigm is culture.

We can define culture as the prevalent ideals and beliefs of select groups of people. Culture does not necessarily mean in a national sense, it may be in a familial or a corporate setting also. If you are working in a company wherein the corporate culture is one of ruthless and unethical mores-then you are in a place where you moral and spiritual growth may be challenged. Do not allow this to happen-it is an important part of who you are and is integral in your goal to change life to one with meaning.

Even if your objective is to earn money, find a job that will place you in an environment conducive to your personal growth. You can choose to be defined by your culture or not. It’s not an easy thing to break away from the mold many people have held on to for years, but you must if you want to experience a life of abundance and wealth.

So what can be done to break from the negative cultural limitations that face us today? Become aware of an area in life wherein you can see a harmful culture is restricting you from experiencing success. Write it down as well as all the associations you relate it to. Start reprogramming your mind and begin thinking good thoughts and speak positive words to these matters, however challenging it may seem to be for the moment.

It is a small matter to know these things-what’s important is to go out and do it. Create a life of health and wealth by being free of your cultural limitations today.
