Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Dear Friend,

Keywords or phrases are great to help generate traffic to your website. However, this is way overused by many people because they use keywords to often to increase their ranking. So, due to this, there is such a thing as overusing keywords. Now search engines have created algorithms to see which websites hold the most relevance where keywords are concerned. Currently, it appears that the average article is at least 12% keyword rich and this is way too many keywords.

The reason for all this focus on the use of keywords is that is totally being abused by people. For example, if you have an article of average length, around 500 words and you use the word cat in it 15 times or so, this is way too much and your article may be banned as a result.

This shift has created almost an industry for writing. You can easily get some jobs related to writing search engine optimized articles.

The best way to write the best articles using this technique is to have good content in your article and the appropriate use of keywords. One way to do this is to target areas to place the keywords. For instance, you should put at least two keywords or phrases when you begin the paragraph and in the last paragraph. If you have a 500 word article, try putting a keyword in each paragraph.

Experts recommend that you must focus on writing article for what you are selling and not just to feed in some keywords. As you proceed with writing the article, include keywords when describing your product and while giving out proper instructions on the manner in which you use the product. Try writing about the story of how the product evolved and developed through the years. You may also give examples of the usage and benefits of the product and how exactly it helped you or an acquaintance.

When writing your article, do make the keywords seem forced. Rather, focus on quality content for the article. If you do not have information the reader wants, they will simply not read it. Another very important thing to remember is make certain you have excellent grammar throughout your article. If you do not, this makes you look like you arent smart enough to know what you are talking about and your readers will find it as a big turn off.

If you do not have the time or the desire to write an article, you may want to hire someone else to do it for you. All you need to do is get a freelance writer to do the writing for you. This can cost anywhere from $5-15 or more. It just depends on the quality of the writers work and what you are willing to pay.
